How do we make the Present Simple Tense?
เราสร้าง(เขียน)ประโยคปัจจุบันธรรมดาได้อย่างไร
There are three important exceptions:
มีกฏกติกา ที่สำคัญ 3 ข้อ ดังนี้
For positive sentences, we do not normally use the auxiliary.
สำหรับประโยค บอกเล่าธรรมดม ตามปกติ เราไม่ใช้กริยาช่วย
For the 3rd person singular (he, she, it), we add s or esto the main verb or to the auxiliary.
สำหรับบุคคลที่สาม ที่เป็นเอกพจน์ (เขา หล่อน มัน) เราเติม s หรือ es ที่กริยาหลัก หรือกิริยาช่วย
For the verb to be, we do not use an auxiliary, even for questions and negatives.
สำหรับ กิริยา V. be เราไม่ใช้กริยาช่วย แม้ว่าจะเป็นประโยคคำถามหรือปฏิเสธก็ตาม
How do we use the Present Simple Tense?
เราใช้ประโยคปัจจุบันธรรมดา อย่างไร
We use the present simple tense when:
เราใช้ประโยคปัจจุบันธรรมดา เมื่อ
- the action is general/การกระทำนั่นเป็นการกระทำทั่วไป
- the action happens all the time, or habitually, in the past, present and future / การกระทำที่เกิดขึ้นตลอดเวลา หรือเป็นนิสัย ในอดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต
- the action is not only happening now / การกระทำ ที่ไม่ได้กำลังเกิดขึ้่นในขณะนั้นเท่านั้น
- the statement is always true สถานการณ์ที่เป็นจริงเสมอไป

- I live in New York. / ฉันอยู่ในนิวยอร์ค
- The Moon goes round the Earth. / ดวงจันทร์โคจรรอบโลก
- John drives a taxi. / จอห้นขับแท็กซี่
- He does not drive a bus. / เขาไม่ได้ขับรถบัส
- We meet every Thursday. / เราเจอกันทุกวันพฤหัสบดี
- We do not work at night. / เราไม่ได้ทำงานตอนกลางคืน
- Do you play football? / คุณเล่นฟุตบอลหรือเปล่า
